Our History…
The Wellington Group was formed in 1996 by Jerry Stout and Mark West to develop and operate Assisted Living Facilities throughout the United States.
It is The Wellington Group's goal to become a leader in the Assisted Living industry by providing well developed facilities properly positioned in the market place backed by high quality supportive services. With a higher acuity service model, Wellington can provide a continuum of care which allows us to meet the needs of the greater portion of our aging population.
The Wellington Group's assisted living communities are based on a firmly rooted philosophy of care and service. This philosophy is grounded in the strong Christian values espoused by Jerry Stout and Mark West. These values are supported and encouraged by the Home Office Staff of committed and qualified professionals, and by the best Executive Directors in the business at the facility level.
Each Wellington Place facility offers all that is best in assisted living with purpose-built, state-of-the-art buildings, highly qualified and well trained staff, and a wide variety of programs and services.
The Wellington Group is pleased to provide the communities they serve with an appealing alternative to long-term care when the time and need arise to turn the page into a new chapter of life.

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, we praise your name, for You are an awesome God.
Lord, hear our prayer for every soul that is touched by Wellington Place. Help us provide a home to our residents that is full of joy and peace and dignity. Constantly remind us that the lives we lead were made possible by those we take care of today. We owe them so much!
Make us sensitive to the cares, concerns, and worries of the families of our residents. Remind us of the feelings of inadequacy that family members feel, when they can’t be available for their loved one every moment.
Bless those who bless our residents. Strengthen your tireless saints who give of themselves daily in order that our residents may feel loved and important. When frustrations occur, gently comfort them with Your Words, “when You do this for the least of these, You have done the same for me”.
Constantly refocus our vision for how good life can be at Wellington Place. Grow in us a servant’s heart such that we stay true to our mission.
Help us to be wise stewards of the resources with which You have blessed us. Reward those who make it possible for us to pursue this vision that is inspired by You.
Encourage us to remember that we represent You in all that we say and do. Help us to walk in integrity and humility.
Lord, watch over all the souls touched by Wellington Place, and remind them that our love, confidence, and respect go with them everyday. But most important, remind them that Your love, power, and promise are with them yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
